I saw Dr Wolgin for the first time about needing surgery on my feet. He studied the x-rays and explained what would need to be done to correct the bones and Achilles tendon in both feet but also wanted an MRI. He explained the pros and cons of surgery and was not pushy at all. He let you ask him the questions you wanted answered and seemed happy to answer them. So with all this being said I have found my surgeon . Thanks Dr. Wolgin for seeing me.

As always My experience was my Doctor there and his staff is exceptional. He takes the time to answer your questions and he doesn't try to pressure you enter things and his assistant Leanne. Deserves 5 stars of her own. She's very attentive to details and strives to make sure the patients get what they need. That's why I drive 4 and a 1/2 hours. For a doctor's appointment

I fell walking in the hall at the hospital about 2 to 3 months ago on my right knee. It was bruised and I saw Dr. Darden. He recommended an injection and pulling off some of the fluid from my knee. I didn’t want to do it but then I agreed and now my knee feels 100% again. Thank you, Dr. Darden.

Dr. Wolgin listens to his patients and treats based on the symptoms. He explains what’s going on based on the X-ray and MRI reports! He explains all the options that are available for you and gives you the option to decide on the treatment regimen. He does not rush or try to force you on a particular treatment. Although he will give you the best treatment options for your situation!

Dr. Darden and his staff provided excellent and immediate care for my broken ankle. I was provided a plan for corrective surgery and follow-up treatments.

I have used this office several times. My children and I have seen Dr. Michas often and he is outstanding. Dr. Wolgin however is horrible. He is very difficult to communicate with when explaining someone’s ailments. Also I was scheduled to have back surgery there with him and the couple of months on DB I had off my back started to feel better. I have had back surgery”spinal” and the pain is excruciating. I decided that I thought it was best that I hold off and try and go back to work and give it another shot before I commit to such a major surgery. Wolgin and his secretary both called me when they found out that I may be reconsidering having surgery and both of them tried bullying me into surgery over the phone. I asked to speak with the doctor face to face so that he could help me make what I felt a major decision. When we spoke at his office and I told him that I would like to hold off on surgery he told me that he didn’t want to have me as a patient anymore and would rather I never come back to his office. I am being 100% honest. Like I said I have been using this office for years and also my children for different injuries and I must say that Dr. Michas is an amazing doctor and very caring but Wolgin was very very rude when I decided not to go through with this surgery.

We were trying to keep me out of a boot and it worked. Did my follow up appt. Not completely pain free but it is much better than when I saw him the first time. Dr. Darden as cared for both mine and my wife’s knees and my right shoulder for more years than I can keep up with now. He has always made us feel as if we were the most important patients to walk through their doors. If not for him I would have to have had knee replacement surgery years ago but I am still ticking along on the my original 74 year old original set. We talked, he CC was late due talking with people, I don’t have a problem, it’s the length of time. He examined everything to me, this is a positive, We left the room, and I ask about a pain killer, he said I don’t give out narcotics. He could have given me another prescription. He said he send a patch to help with the Pain, and he didn’t even send the Prescr Option.

My 92 years old Mother fell and broke her right hip on a Saturday morning. Early Sunday morning Dr. Wolgin operated and repaired Mother's hip. Dr. Wolgin was thorough and explained

Help me with my back pain.

We went to another facility in town and were advised my son didn’t have a break. It ended up that he did have a fracture. We contacted Orthopedic Associates and they worked us in that day. The entire staff were very kind and courteous to us. We were in and out within an hour. The doctor talked to my son and explained all details. Wonderful experience. Great doctor and facility! Thanks Kishia and Dr. Michas!

Dr.Michas was very helpful and thorough with my daughter’s hip and back pain. He made sure to explain it to her and gave her options with her future in mind. He helped us after the appt. with forms needed to proceed in sports.

Dr. Wolgin always gives me clear info about my condition and options. As a senior, I appreciate his manner. I also like all the office staff, and like results from PT staff.

The Team that were there when I visited was very nice and friendly. I had to Physical Therapy the guys over there Wow ! Wow! Kept me smiling and pushed me to want to do better and feel good. I'm Tameka James-Sayler and I've been seeing Dr. Michas for a long time; 15 plus years perhaps. Not just for one thing but several. So from my very initial appointment I've always felt my concerns, health and needs were important to him as well as his staff. I drive 2 hours one way to see Dr Wolgin and if it was a longer drive I would still have someone drive me to his office because of his caring bedside manner and you can tell he is there for his patients and not just to satisfy some insurance company. He cares about making your problem and health better. You as the patient is his concern and I thank God for this in getting me to his office. I will always be greatful to Dr Wolgin, Leanne, Kristi and staff for all their help and concern during this difficult time over the last few years in my life due to my injuries. Wonderful! I injured my foot 4 months ago. I’ve been to 6 doctors (2 orthopedic drs prior to Dr Michas)…no answers (except that it wasn’t broken or fractured) or diagnosis only pain meds. Dr Michas took another X-ray…gave diagnosis and treatment and treatment plan!

Easy to talk to and takes the time to explain any issues you may have.

I was able to make an appointment within 2 weeks. I only had a short wait before and between being placed in an exam room, answering questions, having X-rays, and meeting with the doctor twice! In and out in less than 40 minutes! The staff is very thorough, friendly, and efficient and will connect you for referral, if needed.

Dr. Michas & Ernest were welcoming & courteous to me. They truly care for the patient. I apprec Dr. Michas for making clear to me what his diagnosis for my knee pain was at this time. They quickly got an x-ray & gave me a shot of cortisone to hopefully calm the pain down in my knee. I will b back to c Dr. Michas in two weeks to reevaluate the pain & make a decision if an MRI is in order for my care. I apprec the appointment being made quickly & my care today being top notch. He has taken care of my knees for years. He is the only Doctor in Albany I trust to do so. I have tried others and did not feel that they provided good care. One doctor even got me addicted to hydrocodein. Dr. Darden encouraged my weight loss and physical therapy along with the occasional injections.

I have been seeing Dr. Darden for many years now and he is the only one in Albany I ever want to have working on my knees again. He is a great guy and does not believe in doing invasive treatments unless absolutely necessary.
